We made a giant game of Guitar Hero that you can play with footballs. The game was constructed in a warehouse in West London, and a talented young team of freestyle footballers were drafted in to play.

We wanted fans to be able to watch the video for Rock 'n' Roll Train at work, but sites like YouTube and Facebook were blocked on corporate firewalls. Our solution? Convert the video to ASCII art and code it as real animated text and symbols in an Excel spreadsheet (of course).
The Excel file was downloaded over 5 million times and is still being forwarded today.

CODEORGAN is a website that uses a set of complex algorithms to turn web pages into music. Launched with a couple of well-placed tweets, within five minutes CODEORGAN was being blogged about in Japan.
Enter a URL and CODEORGAN scans the page contents and removes all characters not found in the musical scale (A to G), and then analyses the remaining characters to find the most commonly used 'note'. If this is an even number the page is translated in to the major pentatonic scale of that particular note, it becomes minor if there is an uneven number.
Crucially, CODEORGAN allowed users to promote their own website by posting its tune to Twitter and Facebook. Over 2 Million users visited CODEORGAN in the first week of launch.
